Ever walk into a room and instantly wonder if you’re too much or not enough?
Yeah... I used to carry that question like a backpack.
I tried to dim my light to match the room, laugh a little quieter, think a little less, and “blend in” so I wouldn’t stand out too much. But guess what? All that bending and shrinking didn’t bring peace — it brought confusion. And exhaustion.
Fitting In Isn’t the Goal — Freedom Is
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” That means you don’t have to fit in with the world’s mold. You were never meant to be a copy. You were always meant to be an original.
Being different isn’t a curse — it’s a calling. And when you stop chasing rooms that require you to edit yourself just to be liked, sis, that’s when you step into freedom.
You’re Not Alone
You don’t have to sit at every table. You don’t have to be invited to every group chat. And it’s okay if they don’t get you. The people meant for you won’t need you to perform. They’ll see you, hear you, and love you.
Let God lead you into spaces where you can breathe easy and laugh loudly without apology.
Sis, You Can Stop Shrinking Now
So no more dimming your light. No more trying to be a secondhand version of someone else. You weren’t made to blend in — you were born to stand out. Boldly. Beautifully. Unapologetically.
📆 Real Moment Reminder:
The crowd might be loud, but purpose is peaceful. Chase purpose, not people.
With love,
