Let’s talk about it… relationships.
Not the cute, filtered, IG-ready kind — I’m talking about the kind you cry over in private, the ones you keep trying to fix, hoping maybe this time it’ll feel like love.
Yeah, that one.
Can I be real with you for a sec? You were never created to beg for attention, to prove your worth, or to lose yourself just to feel chosen. That’s not love — that’s survival. And baby girl, survival mode isn’t your forever.
🚨 If It Feels Like Confusion, It’s Probably Not God
Love isn’t supposed to leave you guessing.
If you’re constantly wondering where you stand…
If you’re always trying to be “better” to earn their time…
If your heart is tired but you keep staying because you’re afraid of starting over…
That’s not peace. That’s fear.
And fear isn’t from God (2 Timothy 1:7). Real love? It brings clarity. It brings peace. It brings you back to yourself — not further away.
🧠 Just Because You Feel Something Doesn’t Mean It’s Fruit
This one’s hard, but hear me out: just because you have history, chemistry, or “soul ties” with someone — that doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s fruit.
Ask yourself:
Does this person help me grow in my walk with God?
Do I feel safe, seen, and respected?
Am I becoming more of who God called me to be — or less?
If the answer hurts, that’s okay. Growth often does. But staying stuck hurts worse.
🩹 I Stayed Too Long — Don’t Make That Your Story
I’ve been that girl who stayed in something I knew was no longer right for me… all because I was afraid to start over. I gave time, energy, and prayers to something that God never told me to entertain. I know what it’s like to be addicted to potential and ignore the reality.
But I also know what freedom feels like. And sis, once you taste that freedom, you’ll never settle again.
✨ God Isn’t Holding Out On You
Singleness isn’t punishment. It’s preparation.
When God removes someone, trust Him. Don’t run back just because you’re lonely or impatient. God is not late, and He’s definitely not withholding love from you. He’s just protecting your heart from fake versions of it.
💌 Your Reminder Today
You deserve a love that’s honest. A love that prays with you, not preys on you. A love that’s intentional. Not hot one day, cold the next.
And most of all? You deserve to love yourself enough to walk away when God says, “That’s not it.”
📝 Girl Talk Challenge:
Write this down somewhere you’ll see it this week:
“I’m not desperate — I’m discerning. I don’t chase love. I attract it by walking in purpose.”
Stay whole,
